[PRODUCT REVIEW] Posh Brats Tropical Vanilla Detangler Mist

In my recent purchase from Posh Brats they threw me in a bottle of Tropical Vanilla Detangler Mist to try out. I use this after swimming, and really need to buy some more as I use it that often.

The leave in detangler mist nourishes, detangles and softens dry hair. This is a gorgeously scented mist and contains vitamins and proteins to put the goodness and shine back into your hair.

It makes me smell like a vanilla latte and is very noticeable by other people. If you're anything like me and love to smell like food then you will love this.

[FILM REVIEW] Marvel Avengers Assemble

Or just "The Avengers" for short, because apparently British people can't distinguish between men in tights and men with bowler hats and umbrellas.

So trying to write a spoiler free review of The Avengers is pretty hard. It's a very fun and awesome film and I urge you all to go see it as soon as you can.

If you're a fan of Joss Whedon you will no doubt feel his love in the script and editing. A few Xanderisms or lines that make us fans of Buffy/Angle think of a better day, when you would will the bus home from work to go that little bit faster because the next episode would be on shortly.

Stark (Robert Downy Jr) is deliciously an egotistical arse as normal, and is pitted against other men who thought they were the only manly men on the planet (or off it in Thor's case) big enough to do the job.

There is enough back story / history slip ins for anyone who hasn't seen the stand alone hero films or doesn't know much about the comics and has been dragged kicking and screaming by their Marvel obsessed partner to help keep you up to speed as to why the city is dangerously high in health and safety code violations.

Unlike most trailers, this doesn't give away much of the plot but does outline a lovely movie. Seriously guys, get your arse to the theatre and throw your money at them.

[PRODUCT REVIEW] Posh Brats Mi’lady’s Corset Shimmy Silk

For a long while I had been using Aussie brand conditioner but found it left my hair feeling like plastic, so I had moved onto American Dream by Lush and was almost out of it.

I was looking for a different conditioner, mostly as I like to change it up every so often so my hair doesn't get used to just one brand. To me, it keeps my hair fresh and it also changes the scent every so often so people notice you more.

I chose Mi’lady’s Corset Shimmy Silk from Posh Brats mostly because I liked the name and because it had jasmine in it to compliment the shampoo. I was upset at first as the bottle didn’t want to let a lot out, but just like everything else I had used a little went a long way and my hair was lovingly conditioned all the way over. The smell isn't overly powerful, meaning that it's subtle enough to get away with but when a breeze hits you then you can smell a little like a Victorian summers day.

If you notice I'm doing a few Posh Brats reviews, that's because I bought a whole box load of stuff from them so I am working through it post by post.

Purchase this conditioner from Posh Brats.

[PRODUCT REVIEW] Posh Brats Titian Henna Enriched Shampoo

I bought this because my hair has natural red highlights that I like to bring out in summer, but also I have the fronts dyed unnaturally red. My hope was that over time it would keep the red dye red a bit longer (maybe even tinge the blond as the dye washes out) and boost the natural reds in my hair.

After one wash my natural reds were popping! I wasn’t expecting such a quick reaction. The shampoo itself didn’t appear to have a strong scent to me, but is infused with jasmine, Sicilian lemon and patchouli essential oils.

That scent was there, but it wasn’t bamn in you face, which is nice. I needed less than my normal shampoo and it cleansed my hair well.

I've now been using this shampoo for over a month, and my dyed bits are now a pinky blonde and my natural hair colour is a lovely reddy brown.

[PRODUCT REVIEW] Posh Brats Eggnog Sugar Scrub

This stuff is done in bulk and only made to order, but it so worth it. When I opened it to smell I was instantly transported to Starbucks at Christmas with my guilty pleasure, eggnog latte.

I only needed a tiny bit to scrub my face as it foams up amazingly well, but the more you use the better it is as it feels like playing with fizzy face dough and makes shower time fun!The sugar isn’t too scratchy like some scrubs can get and as I scrubbed the scent seemed to change into a more fizzy sherbet like scent.

I felt like I was washing in kali (No, not the Hindu goddess, the sherbet we used to get back up North as a kid). I was so fizzy!

Get it now from Posh Brats.
